The turn of seasons has brought with it another batch of TV premieres and finales, giving us plenty to discuss this week on the podcast. First up, we look at a very full week in comedy, including the premieres of Roseanne, Splitting Up Together, Alex, Inc., Barry, and Silicon Valley, the finales of The Detour and grown-ish, and Full Frontal with Samantha Bee’s much-hyped hour-long Puerto Rico special. Next we move over to the genre and drama offerings, including the premiere of The Terror, an intense Agents of SHIELD, the long-awaited Scooby Doo–Supernatural crossover, a big farewell on Arrow, and another interesting The Good Fight. Afterward, we head to the spotlight section and dive in with the hit Japanese reality show Terrace House: Opening New Doors, the first eight episodes of which are available on Netflix.
