It was a lighter week of television, with many shows taking a break before the end-of-season push, but there’s still plenty to talk about on the podcast. After looking at the rather meager week in comedy, we talk genre, then reality, and finally drama, including the finale of Southland and premiere of Rectify. Then Ryan McGee from The A.V. Club, Boobtubedude.com, and Talking TV with Ryan and Ryan (among other things) joins us at the DVD Shelf to break down the under-appreciated and utterly amazing Spartacus.
