This week sees the premiere of ABC’s Malibu Country, marking the official end of the fall network rollouts and our pilot reviews. Due to a number of reasons, we weren’t able to catch up with all the shows we usually follow, but there’s still plenty of TV talk to go around. We take a look at Tuesday’s Halloween-themed comedies (Ben and Kate, New Girl, The Mindy Project, Happy Endings, Don’t Trust the B—- in Apt. 23), the final installment ‘til December of this season of 30 for 30 (Ghosts of Ole Miss), as well as 30 Rock, Supernatural, the Thursday comedies (It’s Always Sunny…, The League, Childrens Hospital, NTSF:SD:SUV::), The Vampire Diaries, Fringe, Bob’s Burgers, Amazing Race, the Call the Midwife finale, The Good Wife, Homeland, and The Voice. Then we welcome Michael Ryan from Mousterpiece Cinema to the DVD Shelf to help us break down Bryan Fuller’s delightful, if short-lived, genre mashup, Pushing Daisies.
