Join us on a trip back in time—not just to last year, when “Coquilles” originally aired, but also to many, many weeks ago, when this podcast was originally recorded and Wimbledon had just been won. It’s almost nostalgic.
Nostalgia is only one feeling we draw on in This Is Our Design, however. The others are much less benign. They are, in fact, troubling, just like Hannibal. We’d like to say “Luckily, you have co-hosts Sean Colletti and Kate Kulzick to guide you,” but there’s nothing lucky about that, at least regarding Sean, who curses at his inanity at some point in this podcast (listener discretion is advised). However, special guests Zack Handlen and Dennis Perkins from The A.V. Club swoop in to alleviate the whole situation. Tune in for some lengthy discussions of friendship, inevitability, and the wonder that is Gina Torres.
