The Televerse #189- Better Call Saul Season 1 with Vikram Murthi

Aprilgeddon continues, bringing with it the return of the Season Spotlight, giving Kate and Simon extra time to discuss some of their favorite series. We start our week with the comedies, including looks at the premieres of Louie, Veep, and Silicon Valley, and then talk genre, including the Game of Thrones premiere, the Fortitude finale, and season one of Daredevil. Club returns to the podcast to talk about one of 2015’s most pleasant surprises, Better Call Saul season one.

The Televerse #41- Mad Men Season 5 with Adam Farrington-Williams

Thanks to the summer premieres starting up, and several series winding down, there’s plenty to talk about this week. After brief looks at Eagleheart, So You Think You Can Dance, the Comedy Bang Bang and Bunk pilots, Metalocalypse, and Girls, Simon and Kate take longer looks at the finale of Veep as well as the premiere of True Blood and the pilot of Bunheads, the latest from Gilmore Girls creator Amy Sherman-Palladino. Then Adam Farrington-Williams joins the conversation to help break down the Mad Men finale, “The Phantom”, as well as the entirety of the fifth season.

The Televerse #34- My So-Called Life with Ricky D

It’s a long one this time, as Simon and Kate celebrate the return of Parks and Rec and dig into a divisive episode of Fringe. Throw in the Veep pilot and an excellent turn from Mad Men, and it’s a full week of TV. Afterwards, we welcome Ricky D from the Sound On Sight podcast to the DVD Shelf to talk about the fantastic, and short-lived, '90s teen drama classic, My So-Called Life.
