The Televerse #140- Informed Opinions: Science and Research on TV

It’s yet another full week in television, with two big premieres and finales giving us plenty to discuss on the podcast. First we look at the comedies, including the finale of Review and the premiere of Louie. The Televerse #135- The Twilight Zone with Scott Meslow

With comedy finales galore and plenty of semi-cathartic drama, it was a full week in TV, giving us a lot to dive into on the podcast. The Televerse #134- Girls Season 3 with Ricky D

It was an eventful week of television, to say the very least, giving us plenty to discuss on what is one of our longest podcasts to date. First we take a look at the comedies, including previews of Surviving Jack, Inside Amy Schumer season two, and the midseason premiere of The Mindy Project. The Televerse #133- Family Tree with Sean Colletti

Several of our favorite TV shows came to play this week, giving us plenty to discuss on the podcast. The Televerse #123- 2014 Winter TV Preview

It’s barely 2014 and new TV has already started, giving us plenty to discuss this week on the podcast. First we go through a mega dose of listener feedback, covering the past three weeks, and then we dive in to the television. We kick off our week in TV with a few episodes that aired at the end of 2013, particularly the Doctor Who Christmas special, before moving on to this calendar week and its offerings, including the Community premiere and memorable episodes of Parenthood and The Good Wife. Then we take a look at the upcoming seasons of Justified and Archer, before breaking down the midseason series headed our way first on the networks and then cable. With Thanksgiving giving some of our favorites an episode off, it’s a lighter show list this week on the podcast. The Televerse #113- Steve Prokopy’s Horror Picks 3

Between The Good Wife’s much-hyped episode exploding our brains this Sunday, Childrens Hospital finishing up its season, and several of our favorites delivering strong installments, there’s a lot of TV to talk about on this week’s extra-long podcast. First we look at the comedies, including a network roundup and several cable series, notably Key & Peele and the Childrens Hospital finale. Then we look at some reality, checking in with Top Chef New Orleans among others, before talking American Horror Story: Coven and the rest of our week in genre.
