Another week, another podcast full of TV returns and finales. This episode, Noel and Kate dive in with Underground and look at what did, and didn’t, work about the underappreciated drama’s finale, “Soldier,” and second season as a whole. Before that, though, there’s plenty of comedy and genre TV to discuss. First up are the comedies, with looks at the finales of Superstore and black-ish as well as entertaining installments of Speechless, Angie Tribeca, and Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Then over in genre, Sense8 returns for season two, Samurai Jack makes a questionable move, Steven Universe is back for a week-long prelude to its May 29th Steven Bomb, iZombie reveals its hand, and Noel and Kate differ on whether American Gods is moving in the right direction, or moving at all. Take a listen, and reach out with your thoughts on Underground and the rest of this busy time for TV.
