Another week, another podcast full of TV returns and finales. This episode, Noel and Kate dive in with Underground and look at what did, and didn’t, work about the underappreciated drama’s finale, “Soldier,” and second season as a whole. You probably already know this by now, but Timeless was uncancelled and given a ten-episode second season.
It’s possible that with some of the shows “nobody is watching”, it’s just nobody you know. Although in the case of American Crime, the ratings really were terrible.
One possibility I thought of was that the opening vignettes in American Gods are simply what Demore Barnes’ character is writing, and what “really” happened could be different. His character (whom you referred to as “Ibis”) hasn’t really been introduced/explained on the show though.
