It’s a first here at The Televerse: It’s been a bit of a week, so with episode 242, Noel and Kate present the first drinking Televerse! There’s a whole lot of TV to break down this episode, so grab some wine and join us for a lengthy chat. First up are the comedies, including a preview of Veep season five, a look at Time Traveling Bong and the premiere of Inside Amy Schumer, and lots of finale talk, including Girls, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Broad City, and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. Then we dive deep with the dramas, including the pilot of The Night Manager and an intense, next-level Underground, and we round out the week’s TV with the genre offerings, including the finale of Supergirl, some belated Orphan Black premiere talk, and plenty of The Flash– and The 100-inspired ranting. Afterward, Emily L. Stephens of The A.V. Club returns to the DVD Shelf to break down the long-running classic anthology series Alfred Hitchcock Presents.
