There were a handful of premieres and finales this week, which while nothing compared to the deluge that will come next week, nonetheless give us plenty to discuss on the podcast. We kick things off with somewhat morosely, with Kate predicting doom for herself in The Televerse’s The Amazing Race pool, then break down the comedies, including the finales of New Girl and The Mindy Project and two more fantastic episodes of Louie. Next up is genre, which may have included Rosemary’s Baby this week, but also gave us the premieres of In The Flesh and Penny Dreadful, and we round out our week in TV with the dramas, including a brief preview of next week’s Gang Related. Then Vikram Murthi of the The A.V. Club and fauxbeatpoet joins us at the DVD Shelf to discuss the hilarious, under-appreciated, and short-lived comedy Party Down.
